Home In Progress

It's been a little over three months since we moved into our new apartment and during that time I've been nesting and picking up new pieces here and there. I thought I'd post a few photos on the progress we've made as a little before/after to my first post about our new place. I've had a lot of luck finding pieces from Pottery Barn (naturally), West Elm, Joss & Main and One Kings Lane. Like a lot of people, I find a lot of my inspiration from the Cozamia print I have hanging in my bathroom, the Ariel Gordon garden stool in my living room or the bar cart below that's quickly become my favorite piece of furniture. It's still not completely done, but it's definitely getting there week by week. Here are a few photos...
Here's that Ariel Gordon stool I was talking it on sale at Joss & Main.
A new 'sweater' rug from West friend Erica turned me on to this brand and this one is so cozy!
We decided to capture scenes from some of our travels to Cinque Terre by getting canvas prints made. They add a splash of color against the white bed with clear bulb lamps (also a new favorite piece!).
This navy striped rug from Joss & Main livens up the bedroom a bit and complements the white/blue theme.
I was so obsessed with this Cozamia print on Pinterest, I just had to have it. Works well with our turquoise/white/black bathroom.
The decanter and glasses on our bar cart were my parents and grandparents...I like that they add a vintage feel. The St. Germain elderflower liqueur is my new favorite bar accessory.
Here's my fall table with mini pumpkins and placemats & napkins from Cost Plus.

Happy Nesting!
