Cinque Terre | Italian Paradise

Even though it's been ages since our France & Italy trip now, I couldn't not post photos from the last stop, Cinque Terre. It is such a gorgeous place...I first went with my sister years ago, so when I went with Jim in May, I knew I'd love it just as much as the first time. And it did not disappoint! We explored the sleepy little coastal towns over two days - short-lived but just enough to eat a lot of pasta, lay out on the beach with fresh focaccia in hand, and hike from Corniglia back to Monterosso, where we stayed.
I adore the white and black stripes on this old church in Monterosso. What a gem!
Here's the view of Vernazza from the hill as we hiked back to Monterosso. I recently turned this picture into a canvas that's hanging above our bed.
Love all the bright pops of color in Monterosso.
Artsy flower photo at a restaurant on the hill above Monterosso's old town.
I kind of love this look for a patio one day.
Here's the coastal path we took from Corniglia to Vernazza.
A view of Moterosso's new town where our hotel was...the beach was pristine & the weather was perfect.
A few of the many slices of focaccia we consumed in Cinque Terre (I think I gained at least 5 lbs on this trip!)
Our lovely hotel, La Spaggia. Family-run and very quaint.
Until next time, Italy!
